Beijing

I have been in Beijing for three days for an education fair. Half a day of travel from Xi’an, half a day of briefings and two very busy days at the education fair.

I think the fair was generally a bit busier than last year. Our stand was packed again, usually four deep, even with a number of very helpful alumni assisting.

The Netherlands had an impressive section, clearly coordinated, and evidence of increasing competition from continental universities.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have any time to investigate the other sections properly–though of course it would be more unfortunate if we were not so busy that I did!
